Limitations and corrections
MoneyPotential is an educational audit tool. It helps you discover and verify opportunities — it does not guarantee outcomes, file claims, or replace professional advice.
What MoneyPotential is not
- Not financial, tax, legal, or investment advice
- Not a licensed auditor, accountant, or claims adjuster
- Not connected to your bank, employer, or insurer systems
- Not a guarantee that money will be recovered
Data handling limits
Questionnaire answers are stored locally in your browser (IndexedDB) so you can resume an audit. Minimal Scan sends generalized profile facts to MoneyPotential servers for AI-guided audit steps — not a full raw dump of every sensitive field. We do not connect to bank accounts or request passwords. If you export a summary or copy text, you control where that information goes — treat exports like sensitive notes.
Optional analytics (only with cookie consent) records page views and navigation — never questionnaire answers. See Privacy for details.
Completeness limits
No questionnaire captures every account, employer plan, or local program. Opportunities depend on your answers, selected audit depth, and current regulations. Unknown answers remain flagged rather than assumed resolved.
Corrections policy
We publish verification dates on guides and action cards. If an official source moves, a threshold changes, or you believe a recommendation is wrong:
- Email corrections@moneypotential.com with the page, source URL, and correction.
- We review against primary sources within five business days.
- Confirmed fixes update content and verification dates; material changes may appear in release notes.
