Privacy and data handling

Your questionnaire answers are stored locally in your browser (IndexedDB) by default so you can resume an audit. MoneyPotential does not require an account for the first release and does not connect to bank accounts.

Questionnaire storage

Answer values stay on your device in IndexedDB until you reset the audit or clear site data. We do not maintain a centralized database of your raw questionnaire responses.

Minimal Scan server processing

Minimal Scan runs an in-product audit that sends generalized profile facts to MoneyPotential servers — such as state, household type, selected triggers, and triage answers — to generate AI-guided audit steps. This is not a full raw dump of every sensitive field you may enter elsewhere in the product, but server processing is involved. We do not request passwords, bank logins, or identity document uploads.

Exports and copies

Generated prompts or exported summaries may contain generalized personal context. Treat exported Markdown or copied text like sensitive notes — you control where that information goes.

Cookies and analytics

Essential cookies and local storage keep your questionnaire progress on this device. Analytics cookies load only if you choose Accept all on the cookie banner. When enabled, analytics records page navigation and actions — never questionnaire answer values.

Your cookie choice is stored in browser local storage under the key mp_cookie_consent_v1. You can reopen cookie settings from the site footer at any time.
